TRIBE and experts from the United States discuss about energy behaviour during the BECC Conference in Sacramento

The Behavior, Energy and Climate Change Conference is an event focused on understanding individual and organizational behavior and decision-making related to energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, and sustainability.

On October 17th 2017, this forum celebrated its 11th edition, gathering in the city of Sacramento participants form universities, governmental organizations, NGOs and the private sector, mainly from the United States but also from the Eropean Union.

The TRIBE partner Cem Keskin, from the Özyeğin University Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (leaders of the Turkish demonstrator) made in this conference a poster presentation. In this presentation, he explained in detail the TRIBE project’s behavioral model, ICT design and deployment, gamification approach and expected results. Before and after the poster presentation sessions, he promoted TRIBE game to researchers from US and EU universities and let them to experience the beta version of the game. He also got chance to encourage lecturers them to use TRIBE game in their teaching activities.
