Exchange of first impressions about the videogame at the 5th General Assembly

Graz, 14/06/2017

The TRIBE project has recently released the first public version of its social videogame, which will help public building users to improve their energy behavior in these facilities.

Having accomplished this part of the project, the project partners celebrated the 5th General Assembly, hosted by the University of Graz (Austria) between 13th and 14th of June.

During the two-day meeting, different sessions were scheduled to review the status of the game, already available to the public in different platforms. This way it was possible to receive the feedback from the partners in terms of playability, integration of the scientific results produced during the 1st period, and expectations towards the impact assessment to evaluate the change in user behaviors produced by playing the game. The impact assessment also comprises the deployment of the ICT monitoring in the pilots and the energy efficiency achieved in each of them.

Part of the sessions addressed the review and update of the dissemination and communication plan. These activities were considered as key activities from now until the end of the project to engage with the public and encourage them to download and play the videogame.

In fact, a specific workshop focused on how to promote the game through social media was held during the 2nd day. A company expert on such topic hosted the workshop, where different methodologies were used: lecture, working groups, feedback loop, brainstorming, etc. The results and ideas out of this workshop will be included in the plan agreed internally in the consortium to foster the impact of the communication activities.
