Description

Heat pump water heaters need to be installed in applications where the cold air discharged from the evaporator can be exhausted from the space or used to cool the facility (well suited for hot climates).

Benefits

Limitations

  • Require installation in locations that remain in the 4.4°–32.2°C range year-round and provide at least 28.3 m3 of air space around the water heater

  • It works more efficiently in warm climates
