2.3.3 Installation of a heat recovery in the condensers of the air conditioning system
Description
In the cooling systems, the heat produced by the condenser can be reused through heat exchangers for the DHW production. This exploitation can be not only a significant energy saving for the production of DHW, but also a reduction in the electric consumption of the air conditioning equipment.
Benefits
The saving potential is low. Some HVAC/DHW equipment have already integrated such a measure
Limitations
Only applicable for those buildings with mechanical cooling
Economic assessment
The cost is variable, but it can be low and affordable.
